Double interview with Haim Omer & Eliane Wiebenga

Eliane Wiebenga works in her practice in the Haarlem Lorentzhuis with families that have been disrupted by internal domestic violence, where existing therapies did not help sufficiently. She makes use of “authority therapy”, which focuses on the restoration of (parental) authority in a non-authoritarian, non-demonizing way. The inspiration for this concept comes from the Israeli professor Haim Omer. Read here their joined interview.

Gandhis' salt march -

an amazing NVR act!

Salt Satyagraha was a nonviolent protest led by Mahatma Gandhi. Following the independence declaration of India on January 26, 1930, He proclaimed a new campaign to protest against the taxes, especially salt taxes, imposed upon the Indians by the British. On March 12, Gandhi set off on a march, with 78 male followers from Sabarmati Ashram to the Dandi Beach, as growing numbers of Indians joining them along the way. It turned into a two mile long procession, which reached Dandi after 24 days, covering 240 miles (390 km). On April 6th Gandhi defied the law by making salt from sea water. Salt Satyagraha was a brilliant, non-violent scheme by Gandhi, which had a significant effect on changing world and British attitudes toward Indian independence and caused large numbers of Indians to join the fight for the first time.
